Bolts may be a product that looks inconspicuous, with an unattractive style and color, but nuts used in most industries are actually used in foreign industries. Basically, many and many equipment products are linked and used by it. Speaking of which, enough attention should be paid to bolts.
However, there is a problem that cannot be ignored in the use of German standard bolts, that is, the breakage of bolts will cause a lot of troubles, even safety problems.
In order to effectively prevent and avoid the fracture of external Industrial Nut, the following measures can be taken during heat treatment and galvanization.
Today we focus on understanding the heat treatment process of the external hexagonal galvanized bolt, which is also the main factor affecting its fracture.
(1) On the premise of ensuring the heat treatment parameters, select the appropriate tempering temperature to eliminate the structural stress and thermal stress to the greatest extent. In the absence of continuous heat treatment equipment, a reasonable loading method is selected according to the output of the bolts to ensure that each bolt is fully tempered.
(2) Before quenching, the salt bath furnace should carefully deoxidize and remove slag to prevent oxidation and decarburization on the surface of the parts. After quenching, the hardness test shall be carried out carefully, and the pseudo-hardness caused by surface decarburization shall be strictly paid attention to. It is better to control the hardness value at the technical limit.
(3) Before quenching, oil stains and rust adhering to the surface of parts must be carefully cleaned to prevent the surface of parts from sintering into oil stains, carbon black and oxide scale after quenching and tempering. After quenching, bolts should also be carefully cleaned to prevent matrix corrosion caused by molten salt residue on bolts.
External industrial nut is a very common and important product, requiring our manufacturers to strictly follow his industry standards to produce accurate and high-quality products for market demand.
