The term “documented information” is been used in the latest version and replaced the term “documents and records”. Now the organizations needs to have standard operating procedures (SOPs) rather than just maintaining documents and records.

Preventive Action covered in Risk based approach:

The High Level Structure/Annex SL do not consider the term “Preventive Action”. Hence the concept of preventive action is been considered since inception throughout the standard under risk based approach and the applicability is specified in several clauses.
